Health cum Screening Camp at Chandigarh Transport Undertaking Workshop

Chandigarh, 8th September, 2016: Chandigarh Health Department in collaboration with Chandigarh Transport Undertaking is going to organize free Health cum Screening Camp at Chandigarh Transport Undertaking Workshop, Industrial Area, Phase - 1, Chandigarh on 10th September, 2016 (Saturday) from 11.00 AM onwards. This camp will be specifically for employees working under CTU. This is in continuation of previous Seven Health Camps organized at Chandigarh Health Department at Daddu Majra, Maulijagran, Dhanas, Ramdarbar, PHD-25, Civil Dispensary, Sector 8 and Village Behlana, Chandigarh.

Dr. Vanita Gupta, Director Health Services said that the doctors from various specialities like Medicine, Gynae., Skin, Eye and ENT will be examining patients and will be providing free consultation. Health promotion and awareness generation regarding prevention, timely detection and management of Non Communicable Diseases and other diseases will be the main highlight of the screening camp.

Risk profiling of patients will also be done for Non Communicable Diseases. General public will also be sensitised about adoption of healthy lifestyle including healthy food and importance of physical activity. Various laboratory tests including Blood Sugar, HIV and VDRL will also be conducted at the venue.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
