Schedule programme of Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls

Chandigarh, 30th September, 2016: It is for the information of General Public as well as the Political Parties of Chandigarh Parliamentary Constituency that Election Commission of India has sent a schedule programme of Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls w.r.t. 1-1-2017 as the qualifying date. The claims and objections from the residents of Chandigarh will be received from 01.10.2016 to 27.10.2016 in the Asstt. Electoral Registration Officers offices and Sampark Centers. Further, the Booth Level Officers will sit at their polling station on Special Campaign dates i.e. 16.10.2016 & 23.10.2016 from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM for receiving the claims and objections from the eligible residents of Chandigarh Parliamentary Constituency.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
