U.T. Powermen Union to Observe One Day Strike

Chandigarh, 1st September, 2016:  The U.T. Powermen Union would observe one day strike on 02.09.2016.Chandigarh Administration would enforce ‘No work No Pay” principle, Therefore all the employees are, advised to attend the duty.
Necessary arrangements for maintaining the  continuity of power supply though have been made but  chances of failure of power supply due to any untoward incident cannot be ruled out. The Electricity consumers of U.T. Chandigarh are  requested  to kindly co-operate with the Admn.
The public is requested, in general, to contact the various Complaints Centers in their area for electricity complaints. Besides above, they can also contact the control room. The public is also requested to keep a vigil on the Electricity lines and  in case they find anyone indulging in sabotage the power supply may inform the Police Control Room and contact the following numbers:-

Public Camp Chandigarh, 28 January, 2016 :-  It is for the information of the general public that the public camp for 29/01/2016 is to be held at community centre of Sector 45. The sectors covered in the camp would be Sector 44, 45 including burial Village, 46 and 33 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 AM.
