Lyod Chandigarh Palate Fest 2016

Chandigarh, 13th October, 2016: A three day celebration of delectable delights- Palate Fest Chandigarh 2016, presented by Palate Fest Pvt. Ltd. & Lloyd in association with Hindustan Times and supported by Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh and ​ C​ITCO will begin from from14th October to 16th October 2016 from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM at Leisure Valley, Sector 10, Chandigarh.

The Palate Fest debuted in Chandigarh earlier this year in March 2016 and after its success and overwhelming response received, the second edition of the festival in Chandigarh is all set to showcase India’s finest restaurants, chefs, produce, fabulous tastings, food markets along with live entertainment. The Chandigarh Palate Fest will be a grand celebration of the wonderful variety of food and drink that Indian Restaurants, Producers, Manufactures, Retailers, and Importers have to offer. It will be a great platform for budding chefs to showcase their culinary skills.

This season of Chandigarh Palate Fest will showcase 20 stalls from leading names in the F&B industry like Hotel Mountview, Hyatt, Taj, The Lalit, Kylin, Desi Burger, Casa Bella, Delhi Chutney Co., Fat Lulus, Veeba, Keventers, Giani, Bonhomia, Wingreens, Nourish Organics, Parvatiya Preserves and Browse. Visitors will enjoy live food demonstrations, a vast selection of eateries alongside lessons in food and drink pairings and styling by culinary leaders.  The Food Market will give the festival goers an opportunity to experience special offers, promotions and choose from an array of products.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
