Raid in East Jurisdiction

Chandigarh, 1st October, 2016: Today under the aegis of Dr. Tapasya Raghav, IAS, Sub Divisional Magistrate (EAST) a team of personal staff along with Sh. Ashok Kumar, Sanitary Inspector conducted a raid in the respective area of timber market, transport area, adjoining grain market, sector 26 and seized (approx) 8  quintal polythene and issued one challan of rupees 5000/-.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
