Chandigarh, 25th October, 2016: Today 5 cases of Dengue have been reported from various health institutions (till the release of press note) which bring the total number of Dengue cases to 693 in the city. 5 cases of Chikungunya have been reported today out of which 1 gave wrong address and 4 are from Chandigarh. The overall details of 138 cases of Chikungunya detected in Chandigarh is; 38 imported, 36 wrong address and 64 from Chandigarh.
To further strengthen the preventive activities, daily fumigation is being carried out alongwith strengthening of field activities which includes mass awareness, checking of breeding sources like coolers, containers, tyres and other sources. Today under dengue drive
