Rationalization of the polling stations boundaries and location

Chandigarh, 17th November, 2016: It is for the information of the Political Parties and General Public of Chandigarh Parliamentary Constituency that Election Commission of India, New Delhi has conveyed the approval to increase the polling stations to 526 from 517.  Draft Electoral Rolls of this Constituency has been published as per 526 polling stations and are available in the official website of this department i.e. www.ceochandigarh.gov.in.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
