Chandigarh, 3^rd Nov, 2016: In exercise of the powers conferred under section 34 of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 read with Rule 31 of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2010, and in view of Govt. of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education Literacy, New Delhi, Letter No. F.No. 8-24/2011 EE4 dated 13.02.2013, the Administrator UT, Chandigarh is pleased to constitute State Advisory Council of UT, Chandigarh as detailed below:-

· The function of the State Advisory Council shall be to advise the State Government on implementation of the provision of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (and Rules made there under) in an effective manner.

· The terms of the council will be for a period of two years from the date of notification.

· The council may invite representation of other related departments as and when required.

E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)

Assigning of Charges

Public Camp Chandigarh, 28 January, 2016 :- It is for the information of the general public that the public camp for 29/01/2016 is to be held at community centre of Sector 45. The sectors covered in the camp would be Sector 44, 45 including burial Village, 46 and 33 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 AM.
