Surveillance Drive by Health Department

Chandigarh, 23rd November, 2016: Today 1 fresh cases of Dengue has been reported and the total number of Dengue cases remained 860 in the city. 4 cases of Chikungunya have been reported today out of which all were from Chandigarh. The overall details of 270 cases of Chikungunya detected in Chandigarh is; 46 imported, 55 wrong address and 169 from Chandigarh.

To further strengthen the preventive activities, daily fumigation is being carried out alongwith strengthening of field activities which includes mass awareness, checking of breeding sources like coolers, containers, tyres and other sources. Today under dengue drive
