Wards to elect Councillors for the purpose of constituting the Corporation

Chandigarh, 22nd November, 2016: The Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh hereby calls upon all the wards in the Union Territory, Chandigarh, to elect Councillors for the purpose of constituting the Corporation in accordance with the provisions of the Sub Section (3) of section 15 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act 1979 and the rules and orders made there-under on or before 30.12.2016.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
