Action Plan for Cashless Chandigarh Housing Board

Chandigarh, 12th December, 2016: Chandigarh Housing Board has gone completely cashless w.e.f. 1st of December, 2016. For implementation of cashless regime in the Chandigarh Housing Board, the following action plan for ensuring digital payments being implemented as   under: 
1.     All payments being received by CHB will be accepted through online payments via net banking or payments by Credit or Debit cards through swipe machines, cheques, demand drafts, Bankers cheques or through PAYTM etc.  However, the Board shall continue to accept all payments made by the allottees/citizens in cash also. 
2.     Chandigarh Housing Board had already opened a current account with SBI, CHB Branch, Sector-9, Chandigarh in respect of all receipts being collected at Reception Counter of the Chandigarh Housing Board, Chandigarh.  
3.  This account has been attached with the Point of Sale (POS)/Swipe Machines which have been installed at the Reception Counter.   
4.  Monetary transactions upto Rs.2,000/- are exempted from levy of service charges/transaction charges in case of EWS categories. 
5.   In case the allottees face any inconvenience while making these transactions, they can make payments in any of the e-sampark centres in Chandigarh.
6. For regulating all cashless transactions in respect of various allottees of the Chandigarh Housing Board, Chandigarh. POS – machines have been installed at the Reception Counter for making all payments with prepaid, debit or credit cards etc.

Public Camp Chandigarh, 28 January, 2016 :-  It is for the information of the general public that the public camp for 29/01/2016 is to be held at community centre of Sector 45. The sectors covered in the camp would be Sector 44, 45 including burial Village, 46 and 33 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 AM.
