Chandigarh Municipal Corporation Elections

Chandigarh, 14th December, 2016: With the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation Elections round the corner, the State Election Commission has deputed officials of the Chandigarh Administration as polling staff with the Returning officers of the various wards for smooth conduct of the elections. Some of the officials have not reported to their respective Returning Officers till date. The State Election Commission has taken a very serious view of the same and a strict action is being taken against them.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
