Special casual leave

Chandigarh, 14th December, 2016: The Chandigarh Administration has decided to grant special casual leave for 18.12.2016 (Sunday) to all those voters/employees who are working with Chandigarh Administration /Board/Corporations/Institutions/Industries/Factories/Private Sectors Shops and hail from the concerned area and are registered voters in U.T., Chandigarh, as well as also within the meaning of section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Ac, 1881 to enable them to exercise their franchise.

Chandigarh, 27 th November 2018: The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 399 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 as extended to the Union Territory, Chandigarh by the Punjab Municipal corporation Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Act,   1994 (Act No. 45 of 1994), intends to amend the Chandigarh Water Supply Bye-Laws 2011 as amended from time to time and as in accordance with the provision of sub-section (1) of Section 401 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation (as extended to UT Chandigarh) Act, 1994, read with sub section (2) of section 7A of the capital of Punjab (Development &Regulation) Act, 1952, the Administrator UT Chandigarh after according approval to the same propose to issue the draft of notification which is hereby published for information of the persons likely to be affected thereby.
