Allotment of flats/dwelling units to the Eligible Oustees of Chandigarh

Chandigarh, 24th January, 2017: Chandigarh Housing Board is proceeding to invite applications through online/offline modes for registration and allotment of flats/dwelling units to the eligible Oustees of U.T., Chandigarh. The prescribed application forms/brochures shall be available from the dedicated banks/branches i.e. HDFC Bank Branches Chandigarh SCO No. 60-63: Sector 9-D, SCO No. 371-372:Sector 35-B, SCO No. 1070-71:Sector 22, SCO No. 3:Sector 15-C, SCO No 48-49:Sector 47, SCO No. 21:Sector 27-C, SCO No. 178:Sector 38-C, SCO No. 146-148:Sectoer 43-B, SCO No. 224-225:Sector 40-D, SCO No. 147-148: Sector 17-C, Chandigarh and State Bank of India, Chandigarh Housing Board Branch Sector 9-D, Chandigarh and State Bank of Patiala, SCO No. 99-107, Sector 8-C, Madhya Marg, Chandigarh on payment of Rs.2000/-.

The scheme will be launched from 31.1.2017, for allotment of 263 flats i.e. HIG (3BR 27 dwelling units), MIG (2BR 102 dwelling units), LIG (1BR 60 dwelling units), EWS (1 Room 74 dwelling units) to the eligible Oustees of U.T. Chandigarh on free hold basis/lease hold basis under “Chandigarh Allotment of Dwelling units to the Oustees of Chandigarh Scheme 1996”. The allotment shall be made on “As is where is Basis” & “As is what is Basis” under the provisions of Haryana Housing Act, 1971 as extended to U.T. of Chandigarh and the Chandigarh Housing Board (Allotment, Management and Sale of tenements) Regulation, 1979. It shall be subject to the provisions of the Capital of Punjab (Development and Regulation) Act, 1952 and rules and regulations made thereunder.

The Scheme shall be open to all eligible Oustees of Chandigarh whose land/house was acquired for which notification under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 was issued on and before 31.10.2007. This is the last and the final opportunity to such Oustees of the U.T., Chandigarh for allotment of flats/dwelling units. Hereafter, no claims of any Oustees what so ever shall be entertained. The detailed terms and conditions containing eligibility for allotment, procedure for allotment, details of proposed accommodation (Lease hold/free hold basis), price and mode of payment, mode of allotment etc are available on the official website i.e. chbonline.in of the Chandigarh Housing Board as well as the brochure. The last date for close of the scheme is 28.2.2017.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
