CREST gets Best State Nodal Agency Award for Promotion of Renewable Energy among UTs

Chandigarh, 24th January, 2017: Chandigarh Renewable Energy Science and Technology (CREST) has been given two National awards by Sh. Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Minister for Power and New & Renewable energy at India habitat centre, New Delhi today.

CREST is conferred with the Best State Nodal Agency award for promotion of Renewable energy among UTs and has got second prize in highest rooftop solar addition in year 2015-16 among UT’s, whereas Delhi got first award in this category. CREST has installed 2.74 MW on 80 Government buildings in 2015-16.
