Chandigarh, 08th March, 2017:  On request of Member Secretary, Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee under the directions of  Dr. Tapasya Raghav, IAS, Sub Divisional Magistrate (East), U.T. Chandigarh the Sub Inspector (Enforcement), Estate Office, Chandigarh has sealed M/s Anmol Bakery, Plot no. 810 near Govt Tube Well, Hallomajra, Chandigarh. On 20.01.2017 inspection was carried out by the Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee and found that the above bakery was discharging the waste water into sewer without any treatment. They have also installed Electric oven and one no D.G set which was not equipped with acoustic enclosure.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
