1,02,000 Application Forms received under PMAY, as of 19.04.2017

Chandigarh, 19th April, 2017: Chandigarh Housing Board has been continuing with the process of conducting Demand Survey under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna – “Housing for All” (Urban) for the EWS, LIG, MIG-I & MIG-II categories, living in urban areas of Chandigarh.

The householders living in urban areas of Chandigarh are eligible to submit demand survey forms for affordable housing in partnership & individual house enhancement provided that they are residents of Chandigarh as on 17.6.2015 having Aadhaar Card/Voter Card and having no house/residential plot anywhere in India.

                   The application forms under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna – “Housing for All” (Urban), can be submitted in all the e-Sampark Centres, e-kiosk Sampark Centres, e-Gram Sampark Centres, Chandigarh Housing Board Complex Sector-9, on a payment of Rs.20/- only and can also be uploaded on the PMAY-MIS Portal.

The registration fee can be paid either through postal orders or in cash at the time of deposit of application forms. It is again clarified, that the postal orders are not mandatory.

As of date, more than 33,000 application forms have been received physically in CHB apart from more than 39,000received online on the PMAY-MIS portal and 30000 through e-Sampark Centres.

Thus, cumulatively, 1,02,000 application forms have been submitted as of date i.e. 19.04.2017under the Scheme. Tomorrow i.e. 20.04.2017 is the last date for submission of application forms.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote".
