Chandigarh Rural Inhabitations Construction and Reconstruction Building Bye Laws for villages

Chandigarh, 12th April, 2017:- In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 2 of the “Chandigarh Rural Inhabitations (Area within Red line of  Revenue Estates, Abadi Areas) Construction and Reconstruction Building Bye Laws for villages (both within and outside Municipal limits) falling in Union Territory of Chandigarh, 2017” and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Administrator , Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to appoint the Deputy Commissioner-cum-Estate Officer, U.T., Chandigarh to perform the functions of the Competent Authority under the said rules.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
