Dr. A.K Janmeja appointed Principal Government Medical College Hospital-32

Chandigarh, 19th April, 2017:- On completion of tenure of Prof. Atul Sachdeva on the post of Principal, Government Medical college Hospital sector 32 Chandigarh on 23rd April 2017 (AN)  he is posted on his original post of Professor and Head Department of General Medicine GMCH 32 Chandigarh w.e.f 24th April 2017.

Consequently the Administrator, Union Territory Chandigarh is pleased to entrust the additional charge of the post of Principal Government Medical College Hospital sector 32 Chandigarh to Dr. A.K Janmeja Professor and Head Department of Pulmonary Medicine cum Medical Superintendent w.e.f 24th April 2017 in addition to his own duties till further orders. He will also look after the work Director Department of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh Administration in addition.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. 'X’ houses will be covered in the coming days too to track the unimmunized children and give them polio drops. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
