Seminar on Environment Development in Sustainable Development

Chandigarh, 6th April, 2017:- Chandigarh Engineering Department, Chandigarh Housing Board and Municipal Corporation Chandigarh is hosting midterm session and seminar on “ Environment Development in Sustainable Development” in Chandigarh on 7th and 8th April 2017. More than 500 delegates from all over India are to attend he seminar/session.  Elaborate arrangements have been made for the delegates coming to the city beautiful. The IBC is presently headed by Sh. Parimal Rai, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, U.T Chandigarh.
The Seminar will be inaugurated by H.E Governor of Haryana, Prof Kaptan Singh Solanki at JW Marriot, Chandigarh on 7th April 2017 at 12:30 PM. During the seminar there will be three technical sessions and each technical session presentation will be given by authors coming from all over India/ abroad with the topics on Environment prevention and sustainable development. The seminar will enrich the knowledge of the engineers, scientists & delegates and they will share with their recommendations/ experience for the prevention of the environment and to ensure sustainable development.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. As part of this campaign, IMA has designed stickers with the message “Vote for a healthy democracy”, which will be stuck on all the prescriptions of patients.
