Amendments in timing of Swimming Pools

Chandigarh, 1st May, 2017:- The Sports Department, U.T. Chandigarh has amended the timings of its Swimming Pools due to increase in the number of members this year. This time around   450 members   have    joined   Swimming as compared to last year in which around   350 members and joined Swimming. Also to facilitate Government       Employees, the timings of the Centres have been amended because they employees can take memberships after 5:00 pm only. To streamline the Sports activities  at the following Swimming Pools, the timing schedule are hereby amended as under:-

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
