 Chandigarh, 16th May, 2017: In Pursuance of order of the Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court passed in CWP NO. 20359 of 2013 Court on its own motion Vs. State of Punjab and others, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to appoint Sh. Anurag Agarwal, IAS, Home Secretary, Chandigarh Administration as Nodal Officer to coordinate with  the different departments of the Union Territory, Chandigarh in respect of the cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. As part of this campaign, IMA has designed stickers with the message “Vote for a healthy democracy”, which will be stuck on all the prescriptions of patients.
