Analysis of class 10th Results of Government CBSE Schools

Chandigarh, 3rd June, 2017: Continuing with the tradition, the city govt. schools have again proved their mettle by showing improved pass percentage in the CBSE class 10 results announced today afternoon .A total number 10736 students appeared in AISSE class 10( 2016-17) in 88 model and non- model category of govt. schools in Chandigarh. The overall pass percentage this year is 95.12% which is better than last year.                        
                                 
In the Rural category Govt. Model Sr. Secondary schools at khuda lahora, Behlana, Rai-Pur khurd ,Kaimwala, Khuda- Alisher, Govt. high school khuda- jassu,Dhanas-1 ,Dadu majra and many urban schools have given 100% result showing excellent academic achievement and remarkable improvement in the pass % .

Among the registered candidates for the secondary school examinations in model and non model school’s 100 students scored a perfect 10CGPA.Among all these schools GMSSS-16 has maximum number of students i.e.20 scoring 10 CGPA, followed by GMSSS-37-B with 16 students and GMSSS-35 with 15 students. A total number of students scoring 10 CGPA have increased this year.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
