Oath taking Ceremony of Newly Elected Members Of Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad

Chandigarh, 14th June 2017: The elections to the Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad 2017 were held on 28.5.2017 and result thereof was declared on 30.5.2017. Smt. Navjot Kaur, PCS, Director Rural Development & Panchayats, U.T., Chandigarh, has administered oath to the newly elected 15 members of the Panchayat Samiti and 10 members of Zila Parishad today i.e. 14.06.2017 at Panchayat Bhawan, Sector-18, Chandigarh.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
