Online Single Window System Launched for Ease of Doing Business in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, 14th June 2017: Sh. V.P. Singh Badnore, the Governor of Punjab and Administrator, U.T., Chandigarh launched an Online Single Window System for ease of doing business in Chandigarh.

Sh. Parimal Rai, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, Sh. M.P. Singh, IAS Additional Chief Secretary to Governor of Punjab, Sh. Anurag Agarwal, IAS, Home Secretary, Sh. Maninder Singh, IAS, Chairman, Chandigarh Housing Board, Smt. Kavita Singh, IAS, Secretary Industries, Dr. Tapasya Raghav, IAS, Director Industries and other senior officers were present on the occasion. 

Online Single Window System has been developed by National Informatics Centre with domain http://eodb.chd.gov.in/  .The Industries Department has taken this initiative so as to enable investors to get online permissions and approvals in a time bound schedule from related departments like Estate Office, Labour Department, Chandigarh Municipal Corporation and Engineering Department etc for setting up new Business or to get renewals of permissions from connected departments of Chandigarh Administration. 
The Industries and Businesses of Chandigarh are happy about this development of getting online permissions and renewal of permissions in a stipulated period which shall cut down unnecessary delays for setting up of new business and also to carry out the existing business without many hassles.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
