Online Appointment System to start at Registering & Licensing Authority

Chandigarh, 10th July 2017: It is for the information to the general public/ residents of Chandigarh that the office of Registering & Licensing Authority, U.T., Chandigarh is going to start the online appointment system w.e.f 11th July, 2017 for the registration of vehicles and issuance of driving license in main office of Registering & Licensing Authority, Sector-17, Chandigarh on the following terms & conditions:

1. The enrolment will be valid for the date of appointment only.
2. The applicant can enrol for the appointment to himself/herself only.
3. The applicant will have to enrol himself/ herself for fresh appointment, if due to any reason the applicant will not be able to get the process completed with regard to submission of file/ documents.

The steps to be followed by the applicant for enrolment of online appointment are as below:

Step 1: The applicant has to login to the official website i.e. www.chdtransport.gov.in for getting an appointment and thereafter he/she will have to fill the information Name, Gender, Mobile Number and appointment type.
Step 2: On submitting the above stated details, the applicant will receive One Time Password (OTP) on his/ her registered mobile number.
Step 3: On entering the OTP, the page for selection of date & time for appointment will be opened.
Step 4: The applicant has to select the date & time slot for submission of his/ her file in the Registering & Licensing Authority.
Step 5: The applicant will visit in the office of R& LA for submission of file alongwith the confirmation of appointment.

Step 6: The applicant will be attended on the online appointment counter after the confirmation of online appointment.
