Charges Assigned

Chandigarh, 24th August, 2017: The Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to temporarily assign the charge of the post of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (South), U.T. Chandigarh to Sh. Kishore Kshirsagar Lakshman, IAS (P) and the charge of the post of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Central) to Sh. S. Asker Ali, IAS (P) for the period from 23.08.2017 to 31.08.2017, relieving Ms. Kriti Garg, IAS of the charges for this period.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. As part of this campaign, IMA has designed stickers with the message “Vote for a healthy democracy”, which will be stuck on all the prescriptions of patients.
