Chandigarh, 4th August, 2017:- The UT Administration has decided to
provide free travel facility to women in all local AC and Non-AC CTU buses on “Raksha Bandhan”, which falls on August 07 this year. The facility,
however, will not be available on long route CTU buses. Chandigarh Transport provided this facility
in 2015 first time and is extending the same this year also third time in a
row. Through this gesture, UT
Administration extends its support and exhibits its commitment to provide
service delivery and to facilitate the Chandigarh citizens, on the eve of
‘Raksha Bandhan’.
7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
