All Tatkal cases to be processed in three working days

Chandigarh, 20th September 2017: The Chandigarh Housing Board has provided the Tatkal facility for various services of CHB. Under this scheme, the case of an applicant is processed on priority basis. The general public has given a good response to this facility. Abstract of the TATKAL facility availed by the applicantsupto 20/09/2017, is as under:-

In order to bring about further transparency, the concerned dealing assistant shall process the case and put up to the Accounts Officer-Tatkal on the same day after receiving the application. The Accounts Officer-Tatkal shall examine the case and if there are shortcomings/requirement of essential documents/objections, then the Accounts Officer-Tatkal shall intimate to the applicant immediately by e-mail, telephone and through post. After completion of all the formalities, the Accounts Officer-Tatkal shall forward the case, with recommendations, to the Chief Accounts Officer, CHB. The Chief Accounts Officer, CHB shall examine the case and forward to the competent authority directly (i.e. Chief Executive Officer for GPA & Consensual Transfer cases and Secretary, CHB for Intestate & Testamentary Succession cases). The Competent Authority shall accord necessary approvals or otherwise take necessary action and send the file directly to the Accounts Officer-Tatkal. It is further directed that no officer shall retain the file for more than 24 hours without disposal. If anyone retains a TATKAL file for more than 24 hours then a penalty @ Rs.1000/- per day would be imposed. It should also be ensured without fail that TATKAL cases shall be finalized and disposed off within three working days. The files need not be sent toany officer unnecessarily, unless that officer is the approving authority for any TATKAL related matter.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. “Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. As part of this campaign, IMA has designed stickers with the message “Vote for a healthy democracy”, which will be stuck on all the prescriptions of patients.
