Chandigarh, 19th September, 2017: The Chandigarh Housing
Board has approved the New Citizens’ Charter vide Agenda item no. 402.5.1.
During the process of implementation of the provisions of the New Citizens’
Charter, it has come to notice that there are provisions for giving public
notice for inviting objections in the cases applied for transfer under the
Consensual/Blood Relation/Addition or Deletion of the spouse name Transfer
Policy and for mutation of property on the basis of Sale deed/transfer
deed/gift deed etc. However, as per past practice, the Chandigarh Housing Board
is not releasing public notice in such cases.
All the concerned and interested persons, who have
reasonable claim(s) against the property and to avoid any sort of fraudulent
transfers, it has been decided that public notice shall be given in all such
cases, as per the provisions of the New Citizens’ Charter with effect from
19/09/2017.
