Special Drive of Election Commission of India

Chandigarh, 15th November 2017: This is the information of General Public and Political Parties that as per directions of the Election Commission of India, New Delhi, the work of Special Drive has been started on 15th November, 2017. During this drive the Booth Level Officers will be visiting each in and every house from 15th November to 30th November, 2017. The BLOs will distribute and collect duly filled forms from the citizens for enrolment as elector/modification/deletion/transposition of entries in the electoral rolls. They will also collect the information regarding GPS of house/Mobile No./ family linkage/un-enrolled electors/overseas electors in the format provided by the Election commission of India, New Delhi. The residents of Chandigarh are requested to give full co-operation as and when the booth level Officer Visits their residence for verification/collection of information. The particulars of concerned BLOs and AEROs offices are available on the website of this department i.e. www.ceochandigarh.nic.in. Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
