Chandigarh 22nd December 2017: In pursuance of the DO issued by the Ministry of Urban development, Govt. of India, and provisions of Swachh Sarvekshan-2018, all toilets located in fuel stations/pumps in the Union Territory of Chandigarh are hereby allowed to be accessible to the general public, without any user charges. All the owners of the fuel stations located in the UT of Chandigarh, are advised to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of toilets along with installation of proper signage having ICT based solution to capture real-time feedback from the community.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
