Estate Office Introduces an Online Appointment Platform

Chandigarh 6th January 2018: Estate Office has introduced an online appointment platform for dealing the cases of Transfer on the basis of Sale Deed, Transfer Deed, Gift Deed, Lease Deed and Permission to Mortgage after seeking online appointment.  The transfer letters and other permissions shall be issued to the applicant on the due date of his appointment.  This facility of online appointment can be availed through all the Sampark Kendras. 

Facility of Tatkal service has also been started.  After seeking online appointment, the permission shall be issued on the same day.  Tatkal fee of Rs.10,000/- shall be charged for the same.  These cases shall be free from all encumbrances like court cases, clearance of dues of government etc.  Only 5 cases shall be taken in Tatkal service initially.

This will be a major relief to the people now as earlier the approval/mutation took months together for transfer.  Now with prior online submission of the application, the office would process the case before hand and on the due date the transfer letter etc. shall be given to the applicant.  The office of Sub-Registrar shall upload the Sale Deed, Transfer Deed, Gift Deed on the said platform which would provide details of the deed before the hard copy is submitted by the applicant alongwith the paper booklet on the appointment date.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote".
