Chandigarh 6th January 2018: Indian Red Cross Society, U.T. Branch, Chandigarh is running a Raen Basera (Night Shelter) near Local Bus Stand Complex in Sector 17, Chandigarh with the capacity of 105 beds. Keeping in view of the extreme chilled weather conditions, it has been decided that the homeless/needy poor people like beggars, rickshaw pullers, pavement dwellers etc. will be given shelter in the Raen Basera, Sector 17, Chandigarh free of cost. The Hall No.5 and 6 of Raen Basera, Sector 17, Chandigarh has been kept reserved and will be available exclusively for homeless/needy poor people during winter season.
