Chandigarh,
21st February 2018: In partial modification
of this office’s order regarding playing of any kind of music/sounds
originating from any kind of instrument/appliance/apparatus capable of
producing or re-producing sound is banned between 10:00 P.M. to 06:00 A.M. in
the Union Territory, Chandigarh.
‘The use of loudspeaker or public address system and
the like during the night hours (between 10:00 P.M. to 12 midnight) is hereby
allowed only on the 15 days notified by the Secretary, Environment, Chandigarh,
vide his office notification no. 5039, dated: 12.01.2018’.
