Inauguration of Sports Complex

Chandigarh, 9^th April 2018: In order to provide better sports facilities in southern part of the city, a new sports complex was inaugurated today at sector-34 by Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh Sh. V.P Singh Badnore in the august presence of Smt. Kirron Kher, Member of Parliament Chandigarh,  Sh. A.K. Sinha, IAS, Finance Secretary , Sh. B.L. Sharma, IAS, Education Secretary and Sh. Mukesh Anand, Special Secretary (Engineering), Capt. Karnail Singh, PCS, Director sports,  Chief Architect, Director School Education, Area Councilor and other senior officers of the Chandigarh Administration. The project details are as below:-

1. Estimated cost                     Rs. 8 Crore

2. Plinth area                                     37000 Sq Ft.

3. Plot area                                        2.66 Acre

 Provided with following Facilities                               

1. Swimming Pool         -        1

2. Gymnasium Hall        -        1

3. Table Tennis Hall      -        1

4. Badminton Courts     -        3

The Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh Sh. V.P Singh Badnore appreciated the initiative of building the sports complex.
