New Commissioner for Chandigarh Right to Service Commission


Chandigarh, 26th April 2018: The Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, appointed by the President under Article 239 of the Constitution, in consultation with and concurrence/approval of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, is pleased to appoint Sh. K.K Jindal, IAS ( Retd. ) as Commissioner of the Chandigarh Right to Service Commission.

Draft Bye Laws- Chandigarh Water Supply Bye-Laws 2011

Chandigarh, 27 th November 2018: The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 399 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 as extended to the Union Territory, Chandigarh by the Punjab Municipal corporation Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Act,   1994 (Act No. 45 of 1994), intends to amend the Chandigarh Water Supply Bye-Laws 2011 as amended from time to time and as in accordance with the provision of sub-section (1) of Section 401 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation (as extended to UT Chandigarh) Act, 1994, read with sub section (2) of section 7A of the capital of Punjab (Development &Regulation) Act, 1952, the Administrator UT Chandigarh after according approval to the same propose to issue the draft of notification which is hereby published for information of the persons likely to be affected thereby.
