Election for the Vice-Chairman, Market Committee, Chandigarh


Chandigarh, 16th June, 2018: Special Meeting of the elected members of the Market Committee, Chandigarh was convened in the office of the Market Committee, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 14.06.2018 at 11:00 am. All the nine members were present. Attendance was recorded and the members were asked to propose names for the office of the Vice-Chairman. Name of Sh. Sunil Gupta was proposed by Sh. Rambir Bhatti and seconded by Sh. Gurpreet Singh and Name of Sh. Sukhwinder Singh was proposed by Subhash Chander and seconded by Sh. Devinder Singh Babla.
Ballot papers for the Vice-Chairman were prepared in the prescribed form ‘C’ and nine copies of the ballot papers were prepared under my signature.  Voting for the Vice-Chairman was conducted by Secret Vote. Thereafter, the counting of the votes for the office of the Chairman was conducted. Following is the result of the counting.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
