Outstanding Performance for the installation of Solar Power Plants


Chandigarh, 25th July, 2018: An Award Ceremony function was organized today by CREST [Chandigarh Renewable Energy and Science & Technology Promotion Society] at Paryavaran Bhawan, Sector 19-B, Chandigarh, wherein Shri Santosh Kumar, IFS Chief Executive Officer, CREST distributed the Awards & Certificates for Outstanding Performance for the installation of Solar Power Plants to the EPC Contractors/Solar Energy Developers based on their performance in the year 2016-17 and 2017-18.
For Highest Installation in Private Residential Sector for the year 2016-17 & 2017-18, award for first position for three consecutive years was given to Shri Vikram Hans, Md of M/s. Multi Overseas India Pvt. Ltd., Panchkula. Second position was bagged by M/s. India Solar Limited, Chandigarh & Third position went to M/s. Inter Solar Systems Pvt. Ltd., Chandigarh. For Highest Installation in Private Institutional & Social Sectors for the year 2016-17 & 2017-18, first position award was given to M/s. Multi Overseas India Pvt. Ltd., Panchkula .
          For Highest Installation in Government Sectors in UT Chandigarh in Record Time for the year 2017-18, first award was given to M/s. R.N. Jewels Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi which installed and commissioned 3.35 MW solar plants in less than 4 months.
          While giving away the awards, CEO, CREST informed that Chandigarh Administration is fully committed to develop Chandigarh as a Model Solar City. He  exhorted various representatives of EPC Contractors to take pro active steps in sensitizing pvt sectors people for installation of solar plants and also requested them to install good quality products at reasonable cost.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
