Checking/ Survey of Government House

Chandigarh, 24th August, 2018: It has been observed that time and again complaints are being received in general that a number of Govt. houses are lying vacant at site, but not being included in Bid by the concerned authorities. Some houses are Sublette by its allottees to unauthorized person. Therefore, it has been decided by the Chandigarh Administration to make door to door checking/survey of all Government houses of each type w.e.f 1st September, 2018 (between 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm) by checking/verifying their Aadhaar Card/e-mail address/date of birth/present designation and present place of posting etc. to ascertain the authenticity of the allottees.
All the allottees of Government houses are requested to co-operate with the Checking/Survey teams of House Allotment Committee of Chandigarh Administration.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
