Motivational Seminar organzied on “Career as an Officer in Indian Air Force”


Chandigarh, 14th September 2018: Under the guidance of Chandigarh Administration, the Regional Employment Exchange in association with Director Higher Education organized a Motivational Seminar on “Career as an Officer in Indian Air Force”.  The event was hosted by DAV College Sector-10, Chandigarh. Group Captain Manish Sabharwal, an Ex-NDA Officer and an alumnus of Defence Services Staff College and College of Air Welfare from DISHA CELL, Air Headquarter (New Delhi) was the motivational speaker of the event.
The event was inaugurated by Sh. Rubinderjit Singh Brar, PCS, Director, Higher Education. Dr. B.C.Josan, Principal, DAV College appreciated the event and motivated students. More than 500 students from different colleges actively participated in the event and came to know about various opportunities in Indian Air Force.  Major General(Retd) Sh. I.P.Singh, Director, Mai Bhago Armed Forces Preparatory Institute was also present on the occasion along with students of the institute.
Sh. Bikram Rana (SLO), Ms. Sanjeeda Beri (REO), Ms. Meenaksh Goyal (SREO) were also present.  Event was well organized by Dr. Puneet Raini (Placement Co-ordinator), Mr Bibek Bhuyan (NCC Air Wing Incharge) and Ms. Indu (Training and Placement Officer) and other staff members. Such efforts/events will continue in future also.

Public Camp Chandigarh, 28 January, 2016 :-  It is for the information of the general public that the public camp for 29/01/2016 is to be held at community centre of Sector 45. The sectors covered in the camp would be Sector 44, 45 including burial Village, 46 and 33 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 AM.
