Reconstitution of Administrator’s Advisory Council

Chandigarh, 23rd October 2018: It is for the information of general public that Chandigarh Administration is in the process of re-constitution of new Administrator’s Advisory Council, shortly as the term of present council is going to expire in the first week of November 2018. Administrator’s Advisory Council is constituted to advise the Administrator on the developmental issues and policy matters affecting the Union Territory of Chandigarh.  
General Public having expertise in the different fields shall send their names along with resume and short note on their expertise to Chandigarh Administration by 29.10.2018. The council shall comprise of the members representing various fields of the society like Health, Education, Housing, Environment, Law & Order, Sports, Transportation, Traffic management, Social Welfare, urban Infrastructure for the city, Urban Planning and Heritage preservation, media etc.

Draft Bye Laws- Chandigarh Water Supply Bye-Laws 2011

Chandigarh, 27 th November 2018: The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 399 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 as extended to the Union Territory, Chandigarh by the Punjab Municipal corporation Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Act,   1994 (Act No. 45 of 1994), intends to amend the Chandigarh Water Supply Bye-Laws 2011 as amended from time to time and as in accordance with the provision of sub-section (1) of Section 401 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation (as extended to UT Chandigarh) Act, 1994, read with sub section (2) of section 7A of the capital of Punjab (Development &Regulation) Act, 1952, the Administrator UT Chandigarh after according approval to the same propose to issue the draft of notification which is hereby published for information of the persons likely to be affected thereby.
