Affixing of High Security Registration Plates for Series CH01-BJ

Chandigarh, 15th November 2018:  It is for the information of general public/residents of Chandigarh that the process for affixing of High Security Registration Plates on new vehicles as well as on old vehicles has been started at three notified locations i.e. the office of R&LA Sector-17 Chandigarh, SDM (South) Sector-42 Chandigarh, and SDM (East) Ind Area, Phase-1, Chandigarh.

Accordingly, the series CH01-BJ has been taken up for affixation of HSRP and owner of vehicles having registration number of above said series have been informed.

Now, the last opportunity to the owner of vehicles having registration series CH01BJ is being given for applying HSRP on their vehicles till 30.11.2018. Further, the present running series CH01-BU for registration of new vehicles will also be taken up with above said series.

Now, the owners of vehicle having registration number of series CH01-BJ and CH01-BU shall apply for affixation of HSRP at their respective offices with the request on plain paper mentioning the detail of Chassis Number, Engine Number, Make, Model, copy of Registration Certificate of the vehicle and copy of valid insurance within above said period. In case, if, the owners of the vehicle of above series do not affix HSRP plates on their vehicles within the given time, the Traffic Police, UT, Chandigarh will be asked to initiate the process for Challaning of their vehicle.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants.
