Chandigarh, 14th November 2018: In pursuance of Section 23(Chapter VIII) of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal), Act, 2013, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to appoint the Special Secretary Personnel, Chandigarh Administration as Nodal officer for monitoring the implementation of the Act and maintaining the data of the field and disposed of cases of sexual harassment at workplace in Chandigarh.
7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
