Administrator lays foundation stone of Block B building at CHB Office Complex

Chandigarh, 12th December 2018: Sh. V P Singh Badnore, Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator, U.T Chandigarh laid the foundation stone of Block B building at Chandigarh Housing Board Office Complex, Sector 9, Chandigarh today.
The Block B of Chandigarh Housing Board will be a seven storey building sprawled in the area of 1,31,620 sq ft besides the double basement having the area 41, 972 sq ft. The Block B has been conceptualized as the green building targeted for gold rating which includes green design features such as efficient water flow features, onsite STP, rain water harvesting, Solar PV 50 KWp to reduce grid demand. The building would also comprise energy saving features such as energy efficient VRV system, AHU with VFD control, fans with high efficient motors (IE-3 class), CD monitoring based car parking ventilation system, LED energy efficient interior lighting design etc.
Sh. A K Sinha, Chairman Chandigarh Housing Board cum Finance Secretary, Sh. AK Gupta, Principal Secretary Home, Sh. Mandip Singh Brar, Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Sanjay Beniwal, DGP, Chandigarh, and other officers of Chandigarh Administration were also present at the event.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
