Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh Administration takes meeting for Republic Day Celebrations 2019

Chandigarh, 5th December 2018: Sh. Mandip Singh Brar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh Administration held a meeting today regarding Republic Day celebrations in U.T, Chandigarh for the year 2019 at Deputy Commissioner’s office.
Meeting was held to assign tasks to all the line departments regarding the 26th January event that is to take place at Parade Ground, Chandigarh. The following Departments were directed to display tableau concerning to their department on Republic Day 2019
1.     Police Department
2.     Health Department
3.     Environment & Forest Department
4.     DPI(S)
5.     Industry Department
6.     Science and Technology Department
7.     Pollution Control Board
8.     College of Arts
9.     Department of Information and Technology
10.  Department of Tourism
11.  Agriculture Department
12.  Rural Development & Panchayat
13.   Punjab Engineering College
14.   Adult Education
15.   Fire and Emergency Wing

Sh. Arjun Sharma, IAS, Additional Commissioner, Chandigarh Administration, Smt. Nazuk Kumar, IAS, SDM Chandigarh and other officers of Chandigarh Administration were also present in the meeting.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. 'X’ houses will be covered in the coming days too to track the unimmunized children and give them polio drops. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
