Re-auction of 60 left out Special/Fancy Registration Numbers of the Series "CH01-BU”

Chandigarh, 3rd December 2018: It is for the information to the general public/residents of Chandigarh that re-auction of 60 left out special/fancy registration numbers of the series "CH01-BU” as per the list below is to be initiated.

The registration for participating in e-auction will start from 05.12.2018 (10:00 AM) and will continue till 11.12.2018 (05:00 PM) and the e-auction will start on 12.12.2018 (10:00 AM) and will continue till 14.12.2018 (05:00PM).
The owner of the vehicle can register himself/herself on the National Transport website: https://parivahan.gov.in/fancy and the link of the same will be available from 19.11.2018 on the Chandigarh Administration, Transport Department website:www.chdtransport.gov.in and obtain the Unique Acknowledgement Number (UAN). The owner of the vehicle who has purchased the vehicle at Chandigarh address only will be allowed to participate in e-auction. Sale Letter i.e Form No. 21, UID i.e. Aadhaar Card and address proof of Chandigarh are mandatory to participate in the e-auction. After getting himself/herself registered on the above cited National Transport website or/through Chandigarh Administration, Transport Department website, the owner of the vehicle will deposit the fee for registration for participating in e-auction and reserve amount of the special/choice registration numbers in the O/o Registering & Licensing Authority, Near Municipal Corporation Building Sector-17, U.T., Chandigarh by way of DD in favour of “Registering & Licensing Authority, U.T., Chandigarh” payable at Chandigarh.

The detail of fee for registration for participating in e-auction, the list of reserve price for each special number, procedure of online auction and terms & Conditions for e-auction is available on Chandigarh Administration, Transport Department website:www.chdtransport.gov.in . Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. “Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
