3 day workshop titled “Empathy & Architecture”

Chandigarh, 9th January 2019: A 3 day workshop titled “Empathy & Architecture” is being organised at Chandigarh College of Architecture from 10th -12th January 2019. The Workshop is a collaborative effort of academicians and working professionals from field of architecture. The idea behind the workshop is to dig deep into understanding of Empathy and see how as designers, planners and engineers we can create spaces which are impactful, inspiring and thoughtfully designed. The 40 participants of the workshop include people from different domains including Architecture, Law, Engineering and Journalism. The award ceremony of the design competition would be held on the last day of the workshop. The workshop would include panel discussions and a design competition entailing the adaptive reuse of a portion of the Beant Singh Memorial, Sector 42, Chandigarh.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. As part of this campaign, IMA has designed stickers with the message “Vote for a healthy democracy”, which will be stuck on all the prescriptions of patients.
