“The Chandigarh Small Flats Scheme, 2019"


Chandigarh, 10th January, 2019: In Partial modification of Notification No. 10/3/2-UTFI(I)- 2007/5594 dated 5th September, 2007, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased to appoint the Secretary Estates-cum-Finance Secretary, Chandigarh Administration, to be the Appellate Authority to perform the functions under para 17(a) of the Chandigarh Small Flat Scheme-2006, against the order passed by the competent authority under this scheme.
          Further, the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh is pleased t o make the following amendments in the scheme called “The Chandigarh Small Flats Scheme, 2019:-
1.     This scheme may be called “The Chandigarh Small Flats (Amendment) Scheme, 2019.
2.     This shall come into operation from the date of publication in the official gazette.
3.     Para 17(e) of the Chandigarh Small Flats Scheme, 2006 shall be substituted as under:-
(i)                Any person aggrieved by the order passed by the Appellate Authority shall be entitled to file a revision petition before the Advisor to the Administrator-cum-the Revisional Authority within a period of 30 days from the date of communication to him of such decision and the Revisional Authority may confirm, vary, alter or reverse the decision of the Appellate Authority and may press such orders as deem fit.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. 'X’ houses will be covered in the coming days too to track the unimmunized children and give them polio drops. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
