Written Test for 418 posts of Junior Basic Teachers(JBT) for appointment in Govt. Schools of UT, Chandigarh

Chandigarh, 21st January, 2019: The Written Test for 418 posts of Junior Basic Teachers(JBT) for appointment in Govt. Schools of UT, Chandigarh will be conducted under Samagra Shiksha, Chandigarh by National Institute of technical Teachers Training & Research (NITTTR), Sector-26, Chandigarh in 43 examination Centres on 27th January, 2019 from 10:30 AM to 01:00 PM for 21,578 candidates. The Chandigarh Administration has appointed 18 IAS/HCS/PCS/officers as Independent Observers.
A meeting of these officers was convened today at U.T Secretariat under the Chairmanship of Sh. B.L. Sharma, IAS, Education Secretary, Chandigarh Administration. During the meeting it was shared that for the smooth conduct of test, Jammer will be installed & videography process will also be undertaken for the entire examination. Body searching/frisking will be undertaken by Chandigarh Police and no candidate will be allowed to carry Mobile, Bluetooth, Pen drive, Watch or any other Electronic gadget. Ball Pen will also be provided by Samagra Shiksha, Chandigarh and Wall Clocks will be available in all the examination centres. Candidates are desired to report at the examination centres 1hour prior to the commencement of examination and no candidate will be allowed after 10.30 AM.
